2024 Benefit "Sharing Stories: Empowering People" Videos
"Sharing Stories: Empowering People" is the theme for the Fig Tree 40th anniversary Benefit held in March 2024. The monthly newspaper in print and on-line covers faith in action throughout the Inland Northwest. At the event, four speakers shared their story of involvement and support for the work and mission of The Fig Tree.

Maurice Smith of Rising River Media has worked in Homeless services for the last 18 years, and for the last 5 years has produced videos about the issue and Camp Hope.
Maria Gaines is the editor and publisher of the Spanish Language local newspaper, La Prensa Bilinque, who was encouraged by Mary Stamp as Maria began her publishing endeavor.
Catherine Ferguson, a sister of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary community, who writes articles and helps with editing the paper. Her order has been a supporter of the Fig Tree since its very beginning.
Bob Bartlett, has been associated with The Fig Tree since his work in Sociology and Justice Studies at Gonzaga and through his teaching in Americana Studies at EWU.
